Carey Phillips Travel Fellowship
In 2019, we awarded 15 MS3 and MS4 students a total of $13,000 in funds to travel abroad and within the US.
Some students traveled to Australia, Italy, Kenya, Zambia, and Puerto Rico.
In an effort to rebuild our Travel Fellowship fund and to increase membership, our current project has been reaching out to former Travel Fellowship recipients.
Since it’s creation in 1968, we have given over $400,000 and helped send hundreds of students all over the world.

Medical Student Enrichment Program
We made our annual $2,500 donation to MSEP, which helps younger students travel for global medical training.
Argus Awards
We present 2 awards annually to UASOM faculty at the Argus Awards.

Best Clinical Department – Pediatrics.

Our Annual Board Meeting and Dinner was held on May 11, 2019.
