The funds of the Club are used to sponsor activities in accordance with the purpose above. Full control of the Club’s monies is retained by the Executive Committee, and sponsorships are approved by the Board of Directors consisting of the Club’s officers and representatives of the membership.
Contribution of $115,000 for the purchase of the Medical Alumni Building
Additional contribution of $450,000 in 1994 to help retire loan on Alumni Building
Annual contribution to MIST (Medical Information Services via Telephone)
Annual monetary awards to the best basic science professor and the best clinical professor as chosen by the sophomore and senior classes of the School of Medicine
Reception after the Reynolds Historical Lecture
Scholarships for medical students
Co-sponsorship of a bronze bust of Senator Lister Hill
Contribution for bronze sculpture of T.R. Harrison, M.D.

Who may become a member?
Anyone (medical or non-medical) who contributes $200.00 per year to the Club.
